The Urban River Landscape Design In Winter-city

Urban river, most of the time, is the starting point for the birthof the city, as well as it supports development of the city. It possessedunique landscape, humanities, and historical resources. And effects theform of development. All those point are destined that the urban riverwill be the center of the occurrence and development of the city, and willbe the most vibrant zone of the city.However, in the process of rapid urbanization, our understanding ofthe meaning of urban river existence has deviation. In order to meet needsof industrial development as the goal of human, we reform the originalriver in functional way, those reform measures has been violate to thelaws of nature. Many reform measures seems more like a destruction by now.In order to enhance the river’s flood control capacity, we havetransformed the river into stiff canal. To increase the available landarea, we have encroached on riparian buffers. Some rivers even havecovered. Due to lack of management awareness, some are placed in the cornerdisregard.All these errors led the urban river ecosystem suffered serious damage.The urban river s River landscape and ecosystem services has beendevastating blow. We also got a serious lesson. We gradually realized thatthe urban river have carrying the humanities mood of the city, andimproving the urban living environment. Spiritual civilization andecological civilization is closely related to ecological health of theriver.The winter city s ecology constituting is more complex than theother, it has a unique climate and soil conditions. While the urban riveris a variety of attributes, wetlands, land, etc., and with a rich ecosystemlevel. The urban river restoration requires multi-disciplinarycollaboration. Only through horizontal integration of landscape architecture, landscape ecology, environmental science and otherdisciplines, we can truly cure the "trauma" of the city and the natural.This paper attempts to starting from the perspective of landscapedesign, and through the support of landscape ecology and environmentalscience knowledge system, to research on winter City River landscapeecological Restoration. Through the study of domestic and foreignrelevant theories and practical projects, I propose winter-urban riverlandscape ecology concept. It focus on biodiversity restoring, to achievethree objectives. To repair natural form river; to rebuild the speciesliving environment in river; to repair the water quality in ecologicalway. In this paper, ecological restoration of winter-city River will adopttechnical means of landscape design. As a basis to integrate resourcesof surrounding area. In order to rejuvenate urban river zone, and promoteriparian zone to become the center of the city economic and culture.Hoping that, this paper may contribute to the Ecological Restorationprocess winter-city river, and provide some suggestions for projects.
