Research On Urban Ecological Competitiveness Of Coal Resource Based City In China Midland

With the development of economic integration process,the competition between countries runs more intensive,in which city competition is the focus.Because the city is the core in the system of world economy and social development,to develop urban competitiveness has become the key to the whole competition system.The coal resource based city is important power source to promote national economic development,and make some contribution to national industry system and economic development.But it also payed a huge price,the declining resources,the worsting urban environment and so on,the emergence of t:hese problems weaken the competitiveness of coal resource based city.The midland China is the important base of energy supply in east.Midland as a gathering place of coal resource based cities,the problem of urban development is more prominent.Studying ecological competitiveness of coal resource based city in midland,knowing about the situation of coal cities in midland,and evaluating advantages and disadvantages,which is beneficial to improve overall competitiveness of midland and join in the international competition.The paper is based on domestic and overseas research results of urban ecological competitiveness,according to the theory of regional economic development,the theory of transition and the theory of urban competitiveness,at first,the paper makes definitions of urban ecological,urban ecological competitiveness and ecological competitiveness of coal resource based city;Secondly,according to the objective reality of coal resource based city in midland China,the paper selects indexes to establish evaluating index system of urban ecological competitiveness of coal resource based city from five aspects:resource endowment,resource utilization,economic strength,industrial structure and ecological environment.At the same time,selecting eight coal resource based cities:Datong,Jincheng,Huainan,Huaibei,Hebi,Jiaozuo,Ping Dingshan,Pingxiang and Loudi,and using the data of eight cities from 2011 to 2016 as research samples.Then,applying means of time series analysis and all round PCA and Grey relational analysis to empirical analysis.At last,by combining theoretical research with empirical research,the paper proposed several policies and measures from four aspects:resource endowment,economic strength,ecological environment and technology and education,which are to develop urban ecological competitiveness of coal resource based city in midland China.
