This dissertation concentrated on the taxonomic study on the spiders of family Salticidae from Huping Mountains, Hunan Province. Four parts are included.Part I introduced the methods and materials, the brief introduction to Huping Mountains, the research history of family Salticidae and its current taxonomic situation, morphological characteristics, economic value.Part II concentrated on the taxonomic study of 78 species in 44 genera of the family Salticidae. The specimens collected in 2014 were given the detail collecting information. All new species also provided with the description of detail characters and discussion of the differences between the new species and its related species.Part III summarized the results of taxonomy including discussions. 15 new species are described and named as: Carrhotus hupingensis sp. nov., Chinophry yinae sp. nov., Euophrys tangi sp. nov., Icius hupingensis sp. nov., Irura supervoluta sp. nov., Laufeia bicruris sp. nov., Myrmarachne hupingensis sp. nov., Myrmarachne pengi sp. nov., Phintella levi sp. nov., Phintella arcuata sp. nov., Phintella panda sp. nov., Phintella wulingensis sp. nov., Thiania pseucavaleriei sp. nov., Yaginumaella pulchella sp. nov., Yaginumaella pseubilaguncula sp. nov. The females of the following three species are described for the first time: Epeus bicuspidatus(Song, Gu et Chen, 1988); Epeus glorius Zabka, 1985; Maratus furvus(Song et Chai, 1992).Finally, part IV contains 220 color photos of the species, which have not been recorded before in Huping Mountains, and 46 inked figures about the detailed morphological characters of the new species.
