April to July in2012, used the Roland R-4Four-channel portable recorder (Roland, Shanghai:the frequency range for sound recording is20-40000Hz,24bit/96kHz), the SENNHEISER ME66Directional Microphone (SENNHEISER, Germany:the frequency range for sound recording is40-20000Hz±2.5dB) and Digital Video Camera (Panasonic DMC-FZ18GK, Japan) to record the vocalization and behavior of Marsh grassbird (Megalurus pryeri) in breeding season, in Yalu River Estuary Coastal Wetland National Nature Reserve of Liaoning province and Yellow River Delta National Nature Reserve of Shandong province. The total number of sample is45, the total number of territorial song is717. Recorded their behavior in breeding season and marked the recording locations on the GPS logger. Then conducted a comprehensive comparative analysis with the existing territorial song of Shuangtaihekou breeding population, Chongmingdongtan breeding population, Nanji wetland breeding population. Randomly selected10individuals in each geographic population, each individual selected10territorial song. The total number of sample and territorial song to measure, compare and analyze were50and500,respectively. The number of syllable type in the five populations was66,55of them were shared by two or more populations;5syllable types were only in Yellow River Delta population;3syllable types were only in Chongmingdongtan population;Nanjishan population;1syllable type was exclusive in Shuangtaihekou population,Chongmingdongtan population,Nanji Wetland population, respectively. All the acoustics feature parameters of territorial song among the five populations were significant difference (P<0.01). Acoustics feature parameters of territorial song in each population were difference (P<0.05), but the parameter, duration of syllable in Shuangtaihekou population and interval of syllables in Yellow River Delta population were not significant (P>0.05). The Geographical variation of territorial song of Marsh gxassbird(Megalurus pryeri)population is significant.Used the method of Single-factor analysis of variance (one-way ANOVA) to pairwise test the4acoustics feature parameters of the five populations. Those between the Shuangtaihekou population and the Chongmingdongtan population, the Shuangtaihekou population and the Nanji Wetland population, Yalu River Estuary population and the Chongmingdongtan population were significant difference (P<0.01). Those between the Shuangtaihekou population and the Yalu River Estuary population, the Shuangtaihekou population and the Yellow River Delta population, the Yalu River Estuary population and the Nanji Wetland population were difference (P<0.05), but the parameter, duration of verse. The Acoustics feature parameters between the Yellow River Delta population and the Nanji Wetland population were significant difference but the parameters duration of verse and number of syllables. The Acoustics feature parameters between the Yalu River Estuary population and the Yellow River Delta population, the Chongmingdongtan population and the Nanji Wetland population were not significant difference (P>0.05).The territorial song formed stable local dialects. In addition to the reasons for the formation of dialects was the habitat impact, the others need further study.
