| Project manager is a crucial position in the construction corporations. As one ofthe goals in construction corporations, managing the construction projectsconsciously and creatively can be achieved by implementing various motivationmechanisms, which will sufficiently arouse project managers' enthusiasm, regulatetheir behaviors.This paper focuses on the practical demand of motivation mechanism forproject managers in national construction corporations after the transformation ofjoint-stock system (short for after transformation). Base on the theoretical research, itanalyzes the issues of implementing motivation mechanisms for project managersexisting in before and after innovation of construction corporations. Additionally, itemploys many systematic theories to compare them, including project managementtheory, motivation theory, behavioral science theory, agency theory ,game theoryand joint-stock system. By setting up integrated motivation model, it establish anmotivation mechanisms for project managers, as well as motivation policies andmeasures emphasizing on various aspects, in order to enhance the motivation forproject managers after transformation and improve the competitive advantage,achieve the long-term strategy, and eventually realize the profit-maximization.Finally, the paper takes the case of the Fourth Construction Company of SINOPECas practical demonstration analysis.The research in the paper will recommend the Fourth Construction Company ofSINOPEC to adopt effective motivation mechanism in different situation faced byproject managers. This research in order to prompt potentials of project managersand arouse their work enthusiasm. It is considerable practical feasibility, and as wellcan provide a good sample for similar enterprises, who wish to build projectmanager motivation mechanism. |
