Social Accounting Matrix, which is SAM, is the system of national accounts expressed in matrix. It provides the map of relations between the input-output and institutions accounts, and shows the connections among the principal parts in the whole system during a period of time. The Input-output model exhibits the first time of income distribution, further more, the SAM model exhibits the second time of income distribution and the whole process of economic circulation. SAM is the framework of national accounting, and it is also the database of the mathematics model. The research on regional economy needs the regional SAMs of parallel format. It can help to macroeconomic analysis. This thesis shows the exploring reseach on the regional social accounting matrix, and the making of the Yunnan Province Social Accounting Matrix of 1997 year. Multiplier Analysis Based on SAM uses the linear functions to show the equilibrium of the whole economy system. On the assumption that the prices are remain constant and that there exists an excess capacity of production, giving shocks on the accountings experimentally, the penman do the research of point-to-point analysis to show the connections between the industries. By dividing the multiplier into three types, which are transfer multiplier, open loop multiplier and circular multiplier, which can help to do research on the orgnization of macroeconomic of the whole system and analyze the effects of macroeconomic policies. The result of the analysis is that the influential industries in Yunnan Province are all in relationship with the nature resources and that they are industries based on resources and of low-tech. This shows that the level of Yunnan Province's industrialization is in junior phase. The multiplier analysis based on SAM can offer prospective research on the effect of the policies and help to make the policies correctly.
