This article studies the tourism product development and its product structure questions. We take the tourism product development and the tourism product structure plan as the core question of the tourism development. In order that we can provide the practical and feasible frame for the tourism development, enhance the feasibility of the tourism plan, and explore the tourism development rule, we discuss the guiding sense of product structure to the tourism development and discuss the development pattern of traveling product development and the product structure, through the fundamental research and the real diagnosis analysis.Firstly, the topic research quotes the position theory, the market principle, the region development theory, the sustainable development theory, the ecology principle and other basic principles. Then the dissertation analyses how principles apply to the traveling development and the tourism plan, and it appraises how theories function in practice. So it can provide the theory guidance and the basis for the research work.In the first place, the article redefines the tourism product on the basis of the tourism product concept discrimination. Whereas tourism product structure refers to the combination of the tourism product type, the way of various products relation and in the certain region, as well as in the local tourism income contribution proportion and the function. Setting up product structure establishes on the basis of resources accurate appraisal, the reasonable plan of tourism spatial structure and development layout, tourism market analysis, as well as the tourism product developing. On the one hand, the fundamental research of the article partially elaborates its restriction factor, its researching method, and its reasonable standard. On the other hand, the dissertation takes the development of Cuihua Mountain National Geology Park as an Example. It analyses the tourism product developing and product structure, compares the advantage and limit of the tourism, combines the market and resource of the tourism, and sets up asystem of traveling products. Above all, the article aims at realizing the transformation from sightseeing traveling to vacation traveling. So we should promote sightseeing traveling in order to raise the consumption of other products.Finally the article refers to the innovation of tourism product. The tourism plan must coordinate with the regional tourism development, with the touristic economy function, with the tourism theme, and with the tourism product management. With the improvement of tourism market, the market subdivides is the necessary choice of traveling competition. The discriminability, the marketability and the product innovation is the tendency of the tourism product development. It is the rule of the product evolution that major product transforms, the type of product variegates, the quantity of product adds up, and the product structure turns to higher level.
