| Traditional Group Enterprises now faces an even intensively competition due tothe challenges of new technological development and the drives for running businessin a global vision;as a result, enterprisers have to consider the strategies ofreengineering for survival and future growth under such a competitive environment.As the coming age of Internet, how to embrace the advantages of informationtechnology becomes an essential way for enterprise to stay in competing in the 21stcentury. The capital management is the core of finance. And the reengineering ofcapital management also is the core of enterprise management revolution. Therefore,the new strategy toward capital management is critical.Being a complexity of nowadays information technology and brand-newmanagement methods, ERP is a powerful tool nowadays and its influence isunambiguously comprehensive. Employing the process of ERP, Traditional GroupEnterprise can integrate all its resources, for example: the resources of manpower, thelinkages to its suppliers and distributors, the knowledge bases, the financemanagement, and the information system within organization.With supportive policies and regulations from government, the influence of ERPbecomes more important for enterprises to set up its competing strategies, to arrangeits developing priorities, and even to satisfy its consumers' customizations. While thefull development of integral capital management arriving, the enterprises informationsystem and the strategy of capital management have to be changed.This study focuses on the efforts toward to ERP of Traditional GroupEnterprise's capital management in china. We first survey the main problems ofTraditional Group Enterprise in capital management and try to find the optimal capitalmanagement strategy. And, we then case study on Shijiazhuang Water GroupCompany, explore how the Traditional Group Enterprise can apply the concepts ofERP to form an innovative capital management model. After we investigate thestrategies for integral capital management base on ERP, this paper ends withexploring the processes of setting up integral capital management base on ERP in thepractical ways. |
