With the development of technology and productivity, the structure of theelectronic industry has changed. advantage of human resource has made Chinabecome one of the major countries to take the out-souring task of electronicmanufacture in the world, therefore there are some new traits in supply chain ofChinese electronic manufacture. This paper proposes an optimization mode about the supply chain of electronicmanufacture focusing on these new traits. At first, we study the function ofout-souring and characteristics of OEM and EMS. Secondly, we summarize thestructure of this supply chain and its characteristics. Then we find out that the majorproblems are the storage on supply chain, the cooperation on supply chain, theflexibility of manufacture and so on. Finally, we give the mode in detail. This modehas eight steps, including obtaining and managing process knowledge, finding out themajor waste, choosing value stream analysis tools, drawing the map of value stream, confirming the parts to improve, choosing the tools to optimize, implementing andevaluating it. This mode is a circle by which the supply chain management can beoptimized continually. From the analysis above, we can find out the parts to optimize the supply chain.Because there are general problems about manufacture, souring and storage, we givesome methods to deal with these problems, which include the manufactureoptimization, souring decision and storage strategy. We also set up its correspondingmathematics models. Finally, we prove the feasibility and the value of this mode byan example about F Corporation and its supply chain.
