A Research On China's Energy Trade

Energy is the blood and power of the national economy. Energy security directly affects national security, sustainable development and social stability. In 2004, the contradiction between the demand and the supply of energy in China became more conspicuous and Chinese energy industry undertook great pressure and fierce challenge. The thesis is composed of five parts: firstly, it summarizes briefly the status in quo of domestic and foreign academician's research on energy, then amply introduces two modes which can be kept on developing; secondly, it introduces the status in quo of demand and the supply of energy ,and finds that unbalance between the demand and the supply of energy became more obvious; thirdly, it expatiates several developed country's energy strategy and policy , then give a detailed study on the oil reserve strategy in China; in the chapter four, I point out that as the biggest developing country in the world, China is facing a severe challenge in energy development and our energy security problems are becoming increasingly conspicuous; therefore, last chapter figures that China should make out its energy security policy that fits China's situations. Energy saving should become a basic national policy. At present, the governmental management of energy industry in our country disperses too much. There is no unified energy management department that represents national will. The policies are too unbending. Therefore, to ensure oil supply security; the energy management system of the government should be reformed and energy should be put to market. it is suggested that a unified governmental energy management department be set up to embody the unitary national benefit, to plan as a whole all energy industry development, to coordinate benefit and to comprehensively plan national energy strategy and make energy policy, to actively develop international energy cooperation; to speed up the reform of market in energy industry; to carry out multi-strategies and right energy strategy and to speed up the implementation of oil investment abroad.
