Huge changes take place in market situation, technological level and competition model in New Economy. The competition between countries and areas becomes fiercer. For the moment, manufacturing industry is our strength industry, but it is true just in Manufacturing Economy. It is vital to promote our country's competence ability in New Economy. In the international market, enterprises are the main competitive parts. Improving enterprises' core competence is effective path to improve our country's competitive strength. Therefore, it is an important way of researching business strategic change in AMM.In existent researching files, scholars have done some research on the AMM and business strategic change. After analysis on those files, this paper thinks existentfiles haven't analyzed the relationship between this two, and what's more, those files haven't define the two's definition correctly. The Advanced Manufacturing Model has its own evolution logic and is developed in the New Economy. It's convenient for us to understand the AMM by analyze the process of evolution of Manufacturing Model and comparing different Manufacturing Models. Similarly, it is also an important way to understand strategic change by scientism and systematic analysis on the features of strateg i c change. After grasping core concepts, this paper furthers in understanding the relationship and the trend of business change.The basic goal of business strategy is to get constant competitive strength and ensure enterprise's constant development. Although strategy is for constant development, enterprises must induce effective strategic change when business environment and internal factors change. The AMM, which is composed of modern manufacturing idea, modern management model and modern manufacturing technology, suggests specific demand features, technology and competitive model. That is, the appearance of the AMM signifies the great changes of environment and the essence of strategic change. As a result, enterprises must induce effective strategic change in New Economy. According to this paper analysis, the trend of business strategic change should be active creation, which has building core competence as the goal, building learning organization and modularizing the organization as vital ways.
