Study On The Evaluating System And Countermeasure Of Core Competence In Manufacturing Enterprises On List

Core competence is a management concept used to analyze and develop key elements of business strategy. This article outlines the concept and applies it to manufacture enterprises on list in China. After considering the characteristics of core competence and Chinese manufacture enterprises, an identifying program is brought forward, that is applied to identify the core competence of manufacture enterprises on list in China. The identifying program tells a Chinese manufacture enterprise on list how to judge whether an index is the index of core competence. In addition, the article sets up an evaluating model of core competence in Chinese manufacturing enterprise on list that divides a Chinese manufacture enterprise's core competence into 3 facets, which are resource facet, culture and technology facet and interest's facet. And each facet has several aspects. The resource facet has two aspects: management, productive capacity and continual development. The culture and technology facet has three aspects: innovation of science and technology, corporate culture and brand value. The interest facet has two aspects: market and finance. And moreover there are many indexes in each aspect. Some of indexes belong to core competence and others do not. We can judge this by the identifying program. At last, an evaluating indicator system is set up and an approach named FUZZY UNIT is adopted to analyze the model. Making use of the data from the evaluating indicator system,we can respectively make a analytical figure of spider web structure. We can find the weakness of the enterprise on each aspect through the figure to find a corresponding countermeasure. In the same way, we can compare the analytical figure of spider web structure with the figure of the leading enterprise on the same industry. In the way, we can find the gap between the enterprises in the leading enterprise. So we can find out the corresponding countermeasure. In the end, the article studies the countermeasure system of core competence of enterprise and gives some opinions and advisement on the cultivation of the Chinese manufacture enterprise core competence on list.
