A Study And Design For Normal College Teacher's Teaching Quality Assessment System

The overall structure of school is a three-dimensional structure, which is the quality of education at school, called teacher educational quality which is also called talents training quality. It is known that the bond between school education and talents quality is educational qualities of teachers. It is observed that teacher educational quality is the essential link to improve the educational quality, and is the basis to make sure the talents quality. However, the two generation of teachers (teachers and future teachers) in the normal college exist together. The teacher educational quality has more deep effect to talents quality. Therefore, it is the key to improve teacher educational quality in normal college education, and it will promote the teacher professional development and improve the teaching level effectively.However, with the coming of age of information and ideas of education, the traditional way of assessment gradually shows a lot of disadvantages, for example, heavy workload, time-consuming and high expenses, all of which lead that the teacher's teaching quality could not be judged scientifically and justified. Therefore, according to teaching law to construct reasonable assessment system, to analyze the advantages of computer network, such as handy, independent, strong and easy operation, it is imperative to build a scientific and reliable quality assessment system.In order to achieve our teaching quality evaluation to be networked, high efficient and intelligentized, this research develops a teacher's assessment system based on Browser/Server. This system, in theory, in accordance with scientific, objective, possible and comprehensive principle, combining with our school's actuality, establishes a teacher's teaching quality of appraisal target system, forms the weight of experts'assessment, the students'assessment and the managers'assessment, as well as draws up our school teacher's teaching quality assessment method. In technique and function, this thesis designs and studies the teaching quality evaluation system based on Java Server Pages(JSP)&MySQL. There are four types of users of this teaching quality evaluation system which are:Administrator, students, educational administration managing staffs and experts. The system includes three models as follows:System Maintenance (add, edit, delete and query information); evaluation (students evaluation,educational administration managing staffs evaluation and experts evaluation); score query (query by the evaluation guideline, query by the evaluators, query the total evaluated score). Finally, the users can also leave messages as feedback.This system is designed to facilitate the department of instruction check the work of teaching effectively, manage teaching work scientifically, and to provide good theoretical basis for improving the teacher's teaching and teaching quality, propelling the quality guarantee system of monitoring, standing out teaching central position and role, and the training of excellent staff with overall development and creative talent. It is also facilitate the experts, the managerial staff and students assess the teacher's teaching quality, and makes teachers have a specific and thorough understanding of their teaching level, and improve the inadequacies found in the checking. By virtue of this assessment to promote each department to value and support talents training work, to reinforce macro management and guidance of talents training work further, and then, school will make clear the guiding ideology and deepen the reformation and innovation in education, strengthen management and enhance the basic construction of teaching, to improve the quality of education and institutional efficiency.
