Design And Implementation Of Teaching Quality Management System Of Jinhua Polytechnic

The quality of teaching is an important indicator to evaluate a school. How toimprove the quality of teaching in schools, to enhance the overall quality of students,and improve the standard of teaching and teachers working enthusiasm, JinhuaVocational and Technical College leadership has been content in reflection andexploration. Using information technology, specially networks and information systemsto assist in the improvement of the quality of teaching is a trend. Jinhua Vocational andTechnical College actively attempt in this regard.The teaching quality managementsystem is developed in this context.The system is not to build a simple teaching evaluation system, but let peerteachers, academic staff, school leaders come together to participate in the evaluation ofteaching quality of teachers and curriculum, it is easier to find the problem. This systemis also not a simple ex-post evaluation system, but it has plan of teaching quality beforeteaching,and introduce supervision in teaching and evaluate the quality of teaching afterteaching. After the evaluation, the system automatically calculates the score of eachteacher and teaching quality of the course, and display in visual form.The teaching quality management system is divided into three subsystems, theteaching quality plans subsystem, the teaching process supervision subsystem, theteaching feedback analysis subsystem. The teaching quality plans subsystem approvecurriculum,audit teaching plans and teaching content,also including colleges andprofessional settings, students information management, information management ofteachers, curriculum information management, as well as the corresponding querysystem. The teaching process monitoring subsystem include peer teachers to evaluatethe teaching process, implementation of the teaching program evaluation, students’opinions and suggestions to management. Structional feedback and analysis subsysteminclude leadership of the evaluation of teaching, college teaching assessment, statisticalanalysis of feedback. In addition,it also includes system management functions, usermanagement, permissions assignment, login authentication, and data backup andrecovery. The system development methodology is using the Eclipse integrated developmentplatform based on Java technology and MySQL database technology. Based on theMVC design pattern, the teaching quality management system for Jinhua Vocational andTechnical College is built.
