In research papers as the main scientific literature is an important object of study researchers, and research papers reading is an important part of the work. For a person to read the contents, the multi-disciplines, involving a wider scope, time span, the number is also relatively large, which gives management some difficulties, managed by computer is undoubtedly the most scientific and effective way, one can improve work efficiency and quality of work and facilitate the exchange of information between people. A large number of papers are required to be read in science research process, including extensive reading, intensive reading, and detailed analysis. More papers are read, more possibilities to cause confusion. What’s worse, needless repetitive reading sometimes happens, which results in great waste of time and effort. To solve the above problem, a paper management system is designed and implemented in this article, which provides users with a digital paper reading management platform, allows users to take notes according the content and annotates information of the paper. Using the system, users are permitted to upload the article and get recommending paper according to the annotation, which may be papers in the same or similar domains. Users are encouraged to apply for authorization to read others notes, which may save much time in reading.The ultimate goal of this system is to develop a set of paper reading management system, it uses the modern information management instead of manual administration and simple computer management, and it improves the efficiency of paper reading. Timely and convenient collection of papers on their own to read and manage. And it can manage your own notes. The ability to leverage Web technology can browse their online collection of papers; their papers will be uploaded to the network. According to people’s needs, take a variety of approaches and methods, a large number of paper from the treasure house of resources development, processing the useful knowledge resources, as well as organized information and so on. Through the intrinsically linked to the thing itself and orderly reveal to improve the visibility of knowledge, so that users of the absorption, utilization and derive inspiration.Firstly, this paper introduces the research background reading management systems and practical significance, through research describes research status, then introduces the design and implementation of the system used by the basic theory and core technologies, including Web technologies, JSP technology, Tomcat server, MySQL database. Secondly the paper introduces needs analysis, including feasibility analysis, software requirements analysis, then the overall framework for the system design, database design, functional module design, the final realization of the system and make the system test.The system uses a frame structure for the JSP+Tomcat+MySQL, Which Tomcat, MySQL are popular open source software, and JSP web development technology in today’s wildly popular web development. The system uses JavaScript technology to improve your site’s performance. The system basically completed the requirements proposed functional requirements, to achieve a paper management, notes management, thesis query, and the user notes request management. In addition, the system also focus on the things achieved papers upload download manager, notes, Request Management section, the paper’s online browsing. It is also difficult to achieve this system. User login system, users can take advantage JSPSmartUpload component upload papers, download papers. Use FlashPaper Papers online browsing, to achieve a similar Douding network and Baidu library similar functionality.
