Coal mine dust is one of five natural disasters, coal dust contains element of ash and volatilization, it was explosive, the higher levels can cause an explosion, serious threat to mine safety, it can also endanger the health of workers in the locale. As the development of high production and efficiency coal mining technology, the coal mining efficiency of integrated mining method is much higher, the proportion of integrated mine in the whole coal mining enterprises is more and more large, integrated mining area becomes a main source of coal mine dust. In order to reduce the occurrence of coal mine accidents and improve the working environment, the effective dust suppression measures must be adopted to reduce dust concentration of integrated mining area in the mine.The dust of working face is produced in three general areas, namely mining, scaffold moving and coal releasing process. The mining, scaffold moving and coal releasing process are analyzed in the thesis. While mining, the spray follows the moving of mining machinery; while scaffold moving, the scaffold position is aimed by the spray; while coal releasing, it should be sprayed around the scaffold. The principle and control method of spray dust suppression system are studied. The targeted spray dust suppression control system is proposed.A integrated mining area spray dust suppression control system based on CAN bus is designed in the thesis. The automatic positioning in the coal mining point of mining process, moving point of moving process and releasing point of releasing process can be realized separately in the system. Remote control is realized via bus network. The main controller module and spray controller module are included in the control system, the mining machinery position, scaffold moving and coal releasing position signals detected by the spray controller are received by main controller, according these signals the spray control command is given, the spray mode is configured, and the function of integrated mining face working status real-time display is came true. The main function of spray controller: real-time test the signal of mining machinery position, scaffold moving and coal releasing position, these signals are uploaded to the master controller through CAN network and the spray control command sent by master controller is received, the different spray form are realized by the instruction.The ARM series microprocessor is used in the master controller, the 51 series MCU is used in the spray controller, and the bus controller SJA1000 and bus driver 82C250 are used in the CAN bus communication interface. By the laboratory simulation experiments, the state data collection and relay output control are realized by the spray controller, the real-time display is realized by the master controller, the network communications is available between the four circuit boards. Experimental results show that the design is reasonable.
