Design And Development Of Classroom Management System

Although computers and network technology has been a wide range of application and development in various sectors, to the management of higher education, the traditional sense of the paperless office still has some limitations: As only using software in the office to carry out manual input , timeliness, relevance of the information ,and flexibility of the operation is difficult to be guaranteed. With the Ministry of Education, college students in attendance of the relevant regulations, the institutions to increase discipline of students in classroom management, but most of the use of manual handling, heavy workload and low efficiency, and for students and parents to that the lack of timely feedback.So through theory analysis, combined with class observation and teachers interviews, analyzing university teachers'demand of the helpful tools of information technology, to develop Classroom management system. This system is developed in order to make the traditional laboratory management digitization, paperless, intelligent, and comprehensive development direction, to improve work efficiency and management level.This article illustrates the design of computer classroom management system, and elaborates on the implementing scheme about the specific function and process of system design and development. This system consists three modules,about Student Management Module,Teacher Management Module and Process Management Module. The Student Management Module includes the management of experimental class, Computer Lab and students'system using (records on log-in, log-out, and etc.), and also make an automatic analysis on students'behavior in class and computers according to the logged IP address.The Teacher Management Module includes the registration of class students to the class situation,the situation of submitting work and make it to reports. Teacher can examine their curriculum and set teaching assistant. Process management module includes collection information of the client process, analysis and processing of these data,and according to the client's IP address, automatically record the process of the client.Through the development of this system, further simplified teacher attendance and teaching in the classroom of setting in operation. and at the same time can more intuitively reflect the situation of specific types of attendance, and complete all attendance to information. Parents module: more easily to understand the students in the school's attendance and working conditions for parents,and also can appraisal their kids of all subjects of the performance of teachers.Student modle: convenient for students to inquire their course, related information of teachers, comprehend their own information by inquiry for those who repeatedly absent from school or not hand in papers.Teacher module: facilitate the teachers to grasp their branch of schoole,and the Query function which teachers can enter the appropriate information of selectively to view of query. This system is combination of provisions of status of students and actual situation in schools to designed and develop.so it greatly strengthened the discipline of students in classroom management,and strengthened the work of atmosphere. Through the use of information management, we hope to significantly reduce the burden on teachers,and also improving the efficiency of learning for scholar.The system use MVC's multi-tie architecture of the Struts + Hibernate, developed based on the Jbuilder2006 and sql server 2000, referred to Tomcat6.0 intermediate server,operated by JRE1.5 runtime environment. The system uses the MVC pattern to carry on the design development in the B/S structure, MVC requests to delaminate of application, although it costs the extra work, the product structure is clear, and the product application can be manifest much better through the model.
