Research On Management Platform For Heterogeneous Data Integration

With the increasing maturity of contemporary information,computer network and distributed systems technology, Information has become to the key of socioeconomic development. Government departments in order to achieve e-government and government information sharing and internet to restruct the government organization structure and work flow and established a streamlined, efficient, honest, fair government is the inevitable trend of information society development.Along with our country's e-government rapid development, especially since middle period of the 1990s of last century, the quantity of the data source is increasing constantly and the a mount of data information is proliferating at a tremendous rate. However, these data sources are distributed in various kinds of networks. The data information stored in the data sources is used for different services and managed by different systems, and the data's structure have evolved from the traditional structured data into the current semi-structured and unstructured data coexistence. In order to utilize the huge amount of heterogeneous data more effectively, there is a need to integrate data from multiple distributed, heterogeneous and autonomous data sources, offering a unified, transparent interface for user to visit the information. The interface must shield the difference of the data to users. At the same time need to keep the data integrality and consistency in different systems.Therefore, this paper under the background and based on the theory of Data-tree and general table, expanding and constructing the data tree model, established the General Data Tree Model. It implements heterogeneous data and data sources unified modeling, and avoiding the emphasis of data structure in heterogeneous data integration, and it improved the operability and efficiency of data. And then we based on the model established the platform framework model, and verified by the examples. This paper is divided into five chapters to describe the research and realization of a management platform for heterogeneous data integration. Chapter 1 introduces the background and related technologies of heterogeneous data and the content of the study. Chapter 2 sets up a kind of unified data model:General Data Tree Model, and defines mapping relations of heterogeneous data and data source over this data model. Chapter 3 shows the systematic structure of the management platform for heterogeneous data integration and offers realization strategy for the management platform, including MVC design pattern and data middleware design. Chapter 4 gives an example to verify the idea. Finally, conclusions and the future work have been given.
