With the continuous development of national defense science and technology, aircraft systems and weapon systems put forward a further demand to the telemetry data acquisition system. The traditional single data acquisition system consequentially transfers into the multi-channel and multi-function of data acquisition system. The development of microelectronics technology and the emergence of a large number of new types devices make this transition possible. This paper provides two digital sensor editing programs and points out disadvantages of domestic current editing mode by analyzing the working principle of these two programs. The whole optimization method is designed based on the second program, which consists of hardware circuit design and firmware design to achieve data transmission, data display on the host computer.The hardware circuit mainly achieves sampling encoder for digital sensor output of sixty channel data acquisition, and collected data are sent back to the host computer by the USB interface circuit. The hardware circuit part includes the design of acquisition and control circuit, RS-422 interface circuit design, USB interface circuit design, clock circuit design and power conversion circuits. This paper describes in detail to every part of hardware circuit the realization of the function and the reasons to choose the chips, and gives every part of the wiring diagrams.Firmware part is mainly constituted by the data transmission module, the channel selection control module, the data reception module and USB communication module. Data transmission module accomplishs to send acquisition command function; Channel selection control module comes true the digital sensor output channel selection and control function; Data reception module is responsible for digital sensor exporting the various data which are sent to sampling encoder; the collected data are sent to the host computer by USB communication module. This paper uses Modelsim software to simulate each module. According to the analysis of the simulation results, each module achieves the design requirements of function.Finally, the performance is tested. The test results show the good performance which reaches requirements of design. The collected data are framed and then sent to the host computer to verify the correction of these data.
