Vibration and other fault of diaphragm pump set is the main factor which affect the factory to run safely and stably. So it is very important to monitor vibration, temperature, and other parameter. The monitoring and fault diagnosis system of diaphragm pump set is also the mostly act to improve the benefit and the efficient material supply of factory.The author first presents the purport of develops the monitoring and fault diagnosis system of diaphragm pump set. In the second, the author analyzes the dominating fault, and the class of vibration and the characteristic of every kind. Moreover, the author analyzes the class and the component of the monitoring and fault diagnosis system, and brings forward several diagnosis methods applied for the diagnosis of the system.Aiming at the non-placidity of the data of the system and paroxysm of fault signal, the modern wavelet theory is used to dispose the signal of the system, which includes signal sampling, signal detect, sect signal detection, minimal signal detection, signal compress. The process of how to apply the wavelet is presented at every step of signal disposal. Furthermore, the software is programmed.At last, the analysis examples are presented combined with some real data of power set and analog signals. It shows that the wavelet analysis has the predominance and potentials in the monitoring and fault system.
