The press-elongating machine with four S-shape rollers is one of the necessary element parts in the process of tire production, and its roller temperature control is crucial factor to decide the product quality. It is necessary for the control of the press-elongating machine to combine the multi-function in one monitor system, the intelligent function with the better automatic control and self-diagnosis anticipated, and to realize the control management on site and to guarantee the effictive and safe running of the machine.The thesis is based on the technical reform of the tire production temperature control system of Jiatong tire company limited, and design the tire production temperature control system founded on CAN bus which is around the bottom of production control systems. This system is with the high level intelligent control and high production efficiency and product quality of the company.In this thesis, firstly, we research on the choice of network model, system network, monitoring main computer software, and the designing and realizing of communication, management and monitor model for production temperature control system of the tire press-elongating machine; and then interpret the designing property of CAN intelligent node and investigate the system construction and realization of CAN intelligent node; based on all above, we setup the model of four roller press-elongating temperature system and research and analysis on the control algorithm of the temperature system. According to actual requirements and the advantages and disadvantages of various algorithms, we present an improved Fuzzy PID control method for this temperature plant with long dead time and non-linearty. It is demonstrated by MATLAB simulation that our method improve the performance of the temperature system efficiently.The research work in this thesis will be of great significances in application of the project.
