With capabilities that the blind user access to network information resources improving, combined with Braille literature market bottlenecks, promoting the blind users to use screen reader software aids the process of the use of network resources. However, even with blind screen reader software support tools are also encountered some problems, it is unreasonable to network information resources designed to give blind users access to the network caused some obstacles, but blind users to access digital library for the blind the process also encountered a similar accessibility issues.Blind Digital Library is a special barrier-free site that is designed for the Blind and visually impaired mainly. From web design, Resource Type, Message Service, and function building, both to blind and visually impaired as a starting point for consideration, a mass of information in digital libraries as a basis to design easy access to web accessibility, so that blind and visually impaired users to more easily access information. This article is based on the Construction of the blind digital library research as a theme in the empirical research based on the proposed digital library for the blind and examples of design strategies. Study is divided into the following sections:(1) Blind Digital library-related issues:This section includes research background, Problem posing, purpose and research ideas, mainly on the blind and visually impaired, digital libraries and library websites, digital libraries for the blind and visually impaired Electronics Libraries these concepts in detail of the comb, pointing out that the author of the study.(2) Literature Review:This study was data collection and collation, right at home and abroad for the blind status of digital library research and sorted, and to China, Canada, Australia, the United States and other countries have undertaken several case studies to learn at home and abroad on the this subject in general.(3) Analysis and comparison for the blind digital libraries At home and abroad:Select 10 representative blind digital library at home and abroad, use BOBBY detection tools combinating with manual inspection, from web design, Resource Type, Message Service, and function building of 4 detailed comparative analyses, in order to identify gaps in our blind digital library.(4) Blind Digital library design strategies and examples:In the previous chapter the analysis of a specific section on the basis of comparison on the web design, Resource Type, Message Service, and function building. Among them, web page design for the major issues identified in the corresponding design model; Also listed in the resource type in China are currently no other countries have done quite excellent resource type; information service is divided into information retrieval, information consultant, information customize and push three areas, mainly in the digital library for the blind in the use of smart information technology-oriented to service for the blind; function module is divided into education and training of the reader, as well as two aspects of children's service area, to the introduction of barrier-free Web-based Courses education, scientific and cultural knowledge among the readers, by readers of the blind use of the method of training aids and resources for conducting relevant training. In the children's service area has also cited an excellent example of Canada and the United States for the visually impaired children are provided with a special library services. The rapid development of information technology era, the blind digital library-"provides a place for lifelong learning" more and more clearly reflect the functions, the author hopes that, through this study more people are concerned about the construction of digital libraries for the blind, but also hope that the building of barrier-free digital library for the blind to reach more blind and visually impaired and other disabled groups.
