Digital Cable Television has entered a period of rapid advance after the solid work in recent years. According to the spirit of the State Council Executive Meeting, January 13, 2010, from 2010 to 2012, Radio and Television Bureau and Telecommunications will try to carry out the bi-directional transformation. From 2013 to 2015, they will try to carry out the full development of the triple play. Telecommunications, Radio and Television Bureau's sub-sector operators in the market will be completely broken. How to carry out a full-service-based triple play in the cable network has become an urgent problem to be solved to the cable network operators. Obviously, it is necessary to build a controllable network in order to carry out the whole business. Therefore, bi-directional network transformation has become a vital component in the cable network construction. This article focuses on studying some major technology models of the bi-directional network transformation and their implementations in Hunan Cable Network, and the work that I have done mainly includes the following aspects:First of all, this article analyses the research status of the bi-directional network transformation in the cable television networks, and the progress of the network transformation and its construction in the cable networks.Secondly, this article offers the EPON-based model for the bi-directional network transformation on the basis of the analysis of the FTTB + LAN and CMTS + CM models, and it also gives a depth analysis on the TDMA technology, MPCP and SNMP protocols in the EPON-based model.In addition, this article puts forward two technical means of the EOC Technology Model(base-band EOC and modulation EOC) through the use of EPON to build bi-directional networks, and then it analyses the four mainstream technologies of the modulation EOC (HomePlug, HomePNA, MOCA, WiFi) from their theories and their environmental applications. In the end, it creates two kinds of technology models:the EPON + LAN and EPON + EOC based on the above analysis, and offers the application scenarios of the two technology models.Finally, based on the EPON Technology Model, this article carries out the detailed design implementation according to the actual situation of the cable networks transformation in Hunan, and it also introduces the concrete realization process of the bi-directional network transformation, taking Zhuzhou Cable Network for example. |
