| The future life of family, various home consumer appliances will no longer be a separate island, but through a home network can be linked with each other to collaborative interoperability, household appliances maintenance to their own state, but also can automatic get data from other appliances, sharing of resources and capabilities of interoperability.Faced with such an intelligent home environment, people need a powerful and easy to operate remote control, people can operate all the appliances within the family by the remote control without having to endure one on one control. The remote control can identify the home networking equipment intelligently; access equipment functions and generates the corresponding control interface, enabling users to easily control the device on a unified.In this paper, the video conference terminal with networking functions as an ideal future consumer electronics devices. In such a reasonable assumption, based on UPnP protocol, exploring a feasible network appliance unified control scheme through the realization of the terminal automatic declarations and remote control functions.Based on UPnP plug and play protocols, device and remote control zero-configuration make full use of UPnP protocol standards such as SSDP, SOAP and GENA, expanding the actions and state variables of UPnP service to control video conference terminal functions. To achieve synchronization of remote control and video terminal by using the subscription feature of UPnP protocol.All modules function of remote control has been achieved; remote control has discovered and controlled video terminals through UPnP automatically. In addition to complete these control functions, focus on advantage of mobility, integrated new features such as Wake on LAN, whiteboard and voice calls. Finally, intended to control a wider range of network appliances, designed a unified control scheme for intelligent home appliances. |
