With the popularization of information appliances and network, concepts and relatedtechnologies of the home network have emerged. Currently,because of the various kinds ofHome Network protocol standard, immaturity of network appliance control interfacegeneration technology, lack of a unified OS platform, poor applicability and high cost ofhardware, Home Network haven’t been widely promoted. With the research of controlinterface generation technology,this paper designed and implemented a solution of automaticgeneration of network appliance control interface which was based on UPnP protocol. Furthermore,the solution have good support of the communication with low-cost network applianceadapter interface.This paper have done a research on the implementation and related technology ofnetwork appliance control interface, analysis of their advantages and disadvantages in theinterface effect, generate efficiency, intelligent. With the analysis of reality appliancecontroller and the interface of the virtual device controller, extracting and encoding therequired interface elements of the interface generation. According to the discovery,description, control, event and subscription features of UPnP protocol, this article defined thenew format of presentation description document, design the new presentation feature withinterface automatic generation.On this basis, this paper develop a UPnP Android control pointapplication on Android platform. The Android application implements the discovery,description, control, subscriptions of UPnP protocol and the new presentation with networkappliances control interface automatic generation function that was proposed in this paper.The innovation of this paper as follows:Based on interface element extraction and principal of UPnP protocol,this paperdesigned the new presentation description document to support automatic generation ofcontrol interface,reducing the workload of the complexity of the interface design andprogramming, and improve flexibility, versatility.Using the FSM Model in the research anddesign of control Interface Generation.Implementation of Android control point applicationbased on the the UPnP protocol,having versatility of the of different network appliancemanufacturers.
