Research Of Community Health Care System Based On Partial Relational Model

With the melioration of our normal living environment, health has become the main point in our most interest, what we need most is a more different and more effective health-care service than the traditional hospital-care service. As a result, the Community Health Care (CHC) System is becoming welcome and playing an important role in our lives. Meanwhile, multitude and complexity of the CHC system that makes our request for the power of the information technology and the construction of management information system that support the symmetric planning and efficient management in organization and utilization of health data, which are accumulated past every individual's whole life. Partial relational model is the extension of the relational data model in data domains. All kinds of orders managed together in partial relational model, which can be optimized with the partial relational model algebra. At the same time, effective management and analysis of large numbers of periodic and aperiodic health data are the base of CHC, in other words, data query in system has main proportion. So, the partial order applied to CHC system can improve the effective of health data query.Based on the analysis of requirements for current problems of the Community Health Care, a CHC system using partial relational model is designed and implemented in this paper. Firstly, this paper begins with the introduction of partial relational model. And partially order, ordered relation and ordered relational algebra are introduced. At present, there are two important kinds of domain orderings on the Cartesian product of ordered sets: pointwise ordering and lexicographical ordering. The display type of them in relational database are introduced and analyzed. Then, we discuss the underlying idea of the internal hierarchy, and give an algorithm to generate a partition. Secondly, this thesis makes a total research on the background of the CHC System, obtained the development and problems of CHC. Then, the object, structure, requirement and function of CHCS are analyzed, based on the fundamental theory of management of CHC. Furthermore, the Physical Data Model (PDM)of CHCS is designed. Then, we extend the Physical Data Model to ordered domains. What need to do is build different partition with pointwise ordering and lexicographical ordering. Improved method and query algorithm are given in the end to improve the speed of data query of CHCS. Finally, the system that could satisfy the application is realized. The test result is given and the usability of the partial order in CHC system is approved in the end.With the structural analysis method of system, the object, requirement and function of CHC system are analyzed. Otherwise, this paper makes use of Sybase Power Designer to build the Physical Data Model.From this paper, we can see that partial order make an important role to improve the efficiency of system.
