Radio Network Planning Schemes For WCDMA System Of China Unicom Tongliao Branch

Along with the mobile communication rapid development, the traditional 2"d Generation communication system has not been able to meet people's request gradually, but the emerging data and the multimedia service, such as Email, video transmission and so on, will become the indispensableservice composition in the mobile communication. Therefore, each large mobile operator is deploying the third generation mobile system. The mainstream 3G standards have three kinds of service systems,namely CDMA2000 WCDMA and TD-SCDMA. Among these,WCDMA is the competitive candidate plan for our country.At present, three communication operators in China for 3G network construction intense peak period, with China Unicom to build large and medium cities nationwide 3G network, Tongliao City branch also started construction of the local WCEMA network. Study in the WCDMA system is a complex task and involves widespread domain.In this thesis, Firstly we introduce the basic concepts and building programs of WCDMA.Secondly, combined with the use of existing GSM Tongliao branch network,and in accordance with the objectives and requirements of China Unicom,the thesis include the analysis of the coverage and capacity allocation of wireless networks in Tongliao branch, WCDMA wireless network coverage performance HSPA, WCDMA radio network RNC building programs, the frequency plan and numbering plan, WCDMA and other systems of station antenna and so determine the network building programs.
