Cloud computing, as an emerging network service model, converts task dealing way from desktop-base to network-base. It utilizes distributed computers, which are non-local or remote servers, to provide IT infrastructure services for network users, including computing capability, storage, software and hardware service. Cloud computing will change traditional IT infrastructure provisioning method and can automatically provision IT infrastructure as needed, which will dramatically save human resource. In the mean time, cloud computing utilizes virtualization technology to provide several virtual machines, which have different computing capability and are isolated from each other, for different users. These virtual machines can be easily provisioned and reclaimed, which will dramatically increase resource utilization and reduce maintenance cost.In this paper, the IT infrastructure provisioning method based on cloud computing is studied. Firstly, the background and developing status of cloud computing are introduced. Secondly, this paper describes the concept, architecture, private cloud, service level and advantage of cloud computing, including the concept and technology level of IaaS (Infrastructure as a service), which is a cloud computing service model. Thirdly, an enterprise IT infrastructure automatic provisioning solution based on private cloud computing IaaS service model is put forward, conducting the requirement analysis, overall design, detail design and implementation of this solution. Finally, tests and analysis are taken. According to the tests and analysis, the influence regarding IT infrastructure provisioning method brought by cloud computing is demonstrated.
