"Wireless city" began to spread the wave of mainland China,and altogether 12 cities have confirmed the wireless city scheme, and the "wireless city" in the design phase and the development of WLAN is the combination of networking with 3G+ WLAN mode. As the major carriers have been expanding WLAN construction, some WLAN problems such as construction, maintenance, optimization are brought about.In 2009 Zhejiang Mobile started a large-scale WLAN hot spots construction projects, using the FIT AP mode networking. Zhejiang mobile launched a number of WLAN research projects in order to expore the WLAN network model,improve the research on WLAN technology,ensure the network quality and reduce the impact on existing networks. The project in WLAN fouses on data transmission modes including centralized forwarding and local forwarding.Research on advantages and disadvantages of two modes,AC performance and the influence on the existing networks in the various scenarious are needed. The results of the project will be the guidance to the networking configuration.Firstly, the thesis presents the evolution of WLAN technology focusing on the technical principles of the data centralized forwarding and the local forwarding in the FIT AP and the comparative analysis and the implementation methord, choosing AC, AP of Datang Telecom as the objects of this research. Secondly, from the theoretical analysis of different scenarios, especially focusing on the AC centralized forwarding and the local forwarding performance and the impact of existing networks, performance testing programs in different test scenarios are given. Finally, the test data analysis are summarized in the various scenarios to guide the actual network configuration.Research results on levels of theory and practice focusing on the WLAN data forwarding mode and impact on the AC performance of existing network in various scenarios are provided to the WLAN network construction and maintenance. The project has been prepared to participate in competition of Zhejiang Mobile Technology Innovation Award.
