Service Interface Of Integrated Network Management Based On Metadata Model

With the rapid development of telecommunication network in recent years, operators have built their special network management systems. As a result of incompatible network protocol and data-model, little information can be shared among management systems. In particular, the data model is not compatible with each other. The lack of effective information exchange mechanism leads to bad interaction of the network business. This problem makes telecommunication operators difficult to grasp the whole cross-system collaboration and provide customer-oriented network services, and greatly hindered the telecommunications operator's efficiency. To solve this problem, this paper gives a solution of service interface of integrated telecommunication network management based on the meta-data model.This paper analyzes the current situation and the lack of an integrated network management, the of data exchange applications that are designed to provide software services, each service has a service interface between the various professional management system. The design of meta-data model solved the issue of incompatible data models.This paper has investigated and analyzed core technologies of telecommunication management network, solved several problems met in the implementation of model. The main work and achievements of the paper include: ●Investigated the development of telecommunication management network and existing problems, analyzed the requirement of connection among different network management systems.●Analyzed the similarities and differences of information between the telecommunication network management systems, gave the summery of the management information, design a meta-data model of the management information.●Proposed service interface of the integrated network management system, defines the ways of information interconnection and summed up the implement ways of service interface.●Showed effectiveness of the service interface based on meta-data model by the implementation of the model in the design of one local network management system of China Mobile.
