The diversification and the large-scale of the telecommunication network turn to request the network management concentration. This paper analyzes the existent problems in the telecommunication network management, introduces three kinds of systems: the Client-Database structure (C/D), the Client-Server-Database structure (C/S) and the Browser-Server-Database structure (B/S), and three kinds of interface standard: Q3, SNMP and CORBA used in the network management system currently. Combined with the practical engineering experience in myself at taking part in the project of the network management system design in our company, our solution is discussed with emphasis. The Client-Server-Database structure (C/S) and CORBA interface are adopted in our network management system. The whole system consists of three layers of the Client-Server-Adapter. It takes CORBA as the core technique, adopts multi-layer distribution system structure and the design facing to the object. All functions are sealed in the object, the object can be distributed in different system, communication among them is implemented by using CORBA.The configuration of the Gansu Qingyang network management system is described in this paper. By means of this project, it is verified that our designing network management system has characteristics of open interfaces, the variable system structure, the strong operation ability and good expandability, etc. It can be seen that facing the net diversified and large-scale problems currently, this system has the ability to be competent to manage large-scale transmission sub-networks, and to support the management of the network layer successfully.
