Network Management System (NMS) inspects and controls the running state of the network to provide services effectively, reliably, safely and economically. It consists of configuration management, fault management, security management, performance management and accounting management etc. With the development of network, network management becomes more and more important.With the development of technology, telecom network, computer network and television network will inosculate step by step, so it is necessary to interconnecting networks. Even in one network, because of enlarging of network's scale, strengthening of network's function and increasing of network's complexity, the differences of networks become more and more serious. All services' providers want to set up integrated network management to manage different equipment based on current network management. So the need of integrated network management comes into being. In another word, we integrate all the current network managements to implement interconnection, intercommunication and inter-operation and then form an integrated network management with abundant functions.Network management in the circumstance of many manufacturers is a nodus in researching and building network management system.
