With the development of Video Surveillanc Thchnology and society economic, the third generation video surveillance system has been widely used in all fields of society. However,, with the monitored region increasing, the system's inherent defects (human's own weaknesses, difficulties in data analysis, passive monitoring,etc.) is becoming much more apparent. So, how to manage so many monitor and so much data is becoming a serious problem. At the same time, the technology of intelligent video processing has been developed in academic and aoolied fields.Under this background, the concept of intelligent video surveillance has emerged and developed. This atticle is based on the application of intelligent video surveillance,discussed the key technologies of the system: software and hardware design of embedded platform, video encoding based on DM642 platform, intelligent video analysis algorithm.At first, the development process of video coding standard is introduced in this article. Then, it simply analyzes the H.264coding arithmetic including the coding process and some key arithmetic. After that, it introduces video encoding theory such as motion,intra-coding algorithm and so on.Secondly, The paper briefly introduces the features of TI's Video/ Imaging Fixed-Point DSP TMS320DM642 and the hardware structure of H.264 codec, and analyzes the system task flowchart and principle.Finally, the implementation and optimization of H.264 Video codec on TMS320DM642 is mainly discussed. Experiment results show that the real-time processing of CIF images can be realized while the high image quality and compression efficiency are preserved. |
