With the development of China's economy, the performance requirements of China's military communication system are gradually improving.There is no substantial difference between military and civilian communication systems from the basic principle of communication systems.However,as the difference between the physical lines and the required reliability, military communication systems often require a separate R&D according to the different communication environments.The cable telecommunication in military communication can be divided into field-line communication,overhead open wire line communication and cable communication. Field line communication, as the military's unique method of communication, can not use the same technology system as national public network. So field line communication research is an important part of military communication.As the field-line communication transmission line, coating line has an important significance to military communication. With the increase in communication distance, the original system of the coating line transmission can no longer meet the requirements.So this design is mainly based on coating line design environment to develop a digital communication system suitable for more longer distance transmission.The Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing(OFDM) is an attractive parallel multicarrier transmission technology which has high utilization of the frequency spectrum. IEEE802.11a physical layer protocol which uses OFDM technology has a wide application potential.This design is based on IEEE802.11a physical layer protocol.And we study the OFDM baseband algorithm and ADSL communication process.Then we complete the OFDM system baseband processor design based on the coating line in FPGA, including the baseband transmitter and receiver. We achieve a system architecture design and division, the hardware description and realization of each sub-module, the design simulation and verification, as well as analyzing the results of the validation of some sub-modules.
