OFDM (Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing) technology has been selected as the physical layer access technology of IEEE802.11a WLAN standard. It has a higher spectral efficiency and multipath fading characteristics. In this paper, based on wireless local are a network IEEE802.11a WLAN protocol standard. Research on OFDM baseband transceiver system of data processing algorithms. In the article build an FPGA-based OFDM baseband transceiver system hardware platform. We make the simulation of the OFDM correlation algorithm and some sub-modules in this system. Achieve the modulation and demodulation functions of the basic data transmission. Other students of the convenient laboratory follow-up study.FPGA chip due to its internal logic resources and functional modules. It able to meet the required functionality of the design and development tasks. It can verify the theory algorithm and system architecture. The hardware part of this project is based on FPGA design, digital communications machine. It reduces circuit complexity and facilitates the use of advanced algorithms to improve the performance of communication equipment. It facilitates the use of computer-aided design and electronic design automation. It is easy to transplant, integration and large-scale production. It is also a self-developed baseband modulation and demodulation system without using a dedicated modem chip. It is more conducive to their own technology accumulation and self-protection. It will not be dedicated modem chip technology and intellectual property restrictions.This article first research on baseband transceiver system overall. Under the program analysis to determine the selection of the FPGA chip and the AD、 DA chips and design related peripheral circuits. Debugging the PCB circuit board, chip and interface. And then using Xilinx ISE12.2comprehensive development tools to design the part of the functional modules in the system and verification experiments. Include the work clock module, the training sequence modules and IFFT module programming design, and a waveform simulation by Isim. Finally, we used the hardware board for simple data transfer.
