With the vigorous development of wireless communication, embedded computing and sensor technology, wireless sensor network (WSN) which equipped with fast perception ability gradually became the center of public attention. Because of the characteristics of rapid deployment and real-time monitoring, WSN retained very broad application prospects in many fields.In wireless sensor network (WSN),for one single sensor node had many restrictions on the capabilities of communication, information processing, perceiving and energy consumption, which makes it difficult for single sensor node to monitor in large-scale complex environments. So, WSN's multi-nodes cooperative technology became one of the key technologies in large-scale deployment and applications.This dissertation firstly detailed the framework of WSN's protocol which based on WSN's system architecture,and gave the brief analysis of energy consumption model.Then, this dissertation discussed the multi-nodes cooperative with the fundamental principle and system model from two aspects, the principle of multi-nodes cooperation and common methods of cooperation relay technology. For the current study on virtual MIMO technology, this dissertation conducted in-depth research, and gave the corresponding conclusions on the performance of virtual MIMO technology.Through the above-mentioned multi-nodes cooperative technology research, this dissertation proposed a relay-node selection algorithm based on virtual MIMO transmission relay sensor networks.The algorithm which considered the choice of cooperative nodes with every transmission was not based on minimizing the energy consumption but the balancing residual energy between cooperative nodes.The simulation showed that this algorithm can effectively extend the entire life-cycle of WSN in the long-distance transmission situation.Finally, this dissertation discussed the cutting-edge application of WSN, wireless telemedicine technology. This dissertation studied the architecture of wireless telemedicine and designed a sensor monitor node which suits for multi-nodes cooperation in WSN. Through the corresponding transmission protocol, this dissertation implemented multi-nodes cooperative telemedicine application in WSN.
