The characteristics of large scale, self-organization, random deployment, complex environment, limited resources of sensor nodes,frequent changes in network topology are generally found in wireless sensor networks. These characteristics make topology a challenging research topic.This paper is a reserch on the life cycle of network from the standpoint of topology division.The current researches on energy consumption and the life cycle control in wireless sensor networks are represented in this paper; issues of wireless sensor networks key nodes and networks connected life were discussed on the basis of a detailed analysis of energy consumption of wireless sensor network node; the key node discovery algorithm based on neighbor nodes circuit was described, the theoretical analysis and principle was also given, the algorithm can find the connective key nodes in sensor network; we proposed the strategy of increasing the use of mobile node’s topology combined with path planning algorithm for mobile node to extend the network lifetime and reduce the influence of connecting key node on the network life. The theoretical proof was given, and the correctness and effectiveness has been proved in this paper.According to the theoretical analysis and simulation, this research has solved the problem of wireless sensor network division caused by key nodes, and extended the lifetime of wireless sensor networks. The discovery of key nodes and the elimination of the negative impact by moving nodes enhanced topology and extended the life cycle of wireless sensor network.
