It is mature software and has long history in Motorola. IOS System be composed of Loader and Analysis, Loader module main function is create a database for Loading data, analyzing data, and put legal data into database. Another, analysis module main function is that analyzing data that is from database, and giving out of the reports of the results. Analysis can delete neighbor data, neighbor resolution, add neighbor data, also can generate carrier plan for server cells. In the past, IOS system only support 2G network. In order to meet the mobile communication network technology, so IOS system be upgraded to support 3G network in last year, and in this upgrade, IOS system many place be changed and all of IOS system must to be test.The article focuses on testing on upgrade for IOS system. In first of article, introduction of IOS background, article structure, and IOS system function. Then analysis and elaboration test requirement, test design, test case and operating environment. Finally, test results are analyzed and summarized.
