In modern society, the users'feeling of communication quality has become increasingly demanding. So the communication carriers need a good network to satisfy their clients. Only by improving the network quality constantly, it is possible to satisfy the users, and then attract and develop more users. Mobile communication network is a constantly changing network, and the network architecture, the wireless environment, the user distribution and behavior are changing constantly. In order to adapt to these changes, continuous adjustments are required to optimize the network. And DT (Drive Test) is an important component of network optimization. And in geographical form, we can represent and display the actual movement of quality situation by map function in DT Analysis, which is great significance for network optimization worker to make reasonable scheme, keep network running effectively.In this paper, we compared three kinds of GIS software, indicated the disadvantage of the planar map which was widely used in traditional test software, did a feasibility analysis of the geographical analysis module with Google earth, and designed and developed the module. In the paper, we did research in the Google earth COM API function, KML language, GPS serial communication and database, and developed the module with VC++ in Windows. Practical results indicated that our proposal was reasonable and effective and the module was stable, reliable and user-friendly. The Product has satisfied wireless network testing requirement.
