Along with the escalation and type diversity of user devices, cloud computing hasmade a profound impact on many industries. Under the cloud computing circumstance,to realize high security data synchronization between different devices will have agreat practical significance. SyncML as current industry-level data synchronizationprotocol has been solved in the problem of data synchronization between differentnetworks and devices, and also possesses the advantages of structural criterion anddevice independence. Currently, the data synchronization system which based onSyncML protocol only possesses basic security mechanism (such as MD5, DES, etc.)instead of taking into account to sensitive data security. As a result, these datasynchronization systems have low security. The paper has made an in-depth study anddiscusses the key technologies of cloud security data synchronization which based onSyncML. In order to solve these security problems, the paper has made a deeplyresearch about data synchronization based on SyncML protocol and RSA public keyencryption algorithm.Firstly, the paper makes a brief introduction to the structure of SyncML protocolstack, and made a study of SyncML data synchronization protocol from three aspectsincluding basic data synchronization elements, the SyncML data synchronizationprotocol itself and synchronization strategies.Secondly, the paper analyzes the RSA public key encryption algorithm and itsrelated mathematical principles, especially made a detailed research about itsencryption process, digital signature and security. On the basis of the study above, thispaper proposes a security model which called the cloud security data synchronizationmodel. The cloud security data synchronization model is designed to provide a moresecure, reliable and customizable data synchronization service, which the SyncMLdata synchronization protocol’s security mechanism in the model is improved by theRSA public key encryption algorithm. In the paper, after the analysis on the overallarchitecture of cloud security data synchronization model, it describes the modeldesign from three aspects including data synchronization process, SyncML messagestructure extension and its security.Finally, the paper implements the cloud security data synchronization system thatbased on white-label architecture Funambol, which the design of system is accordingto cloud security data synchronization model.
