The safety of road has become a hot issue. Road test systems of subject I and subject II has been computerized and networked currently, road test system of subject III is in the initial stage because of the complex situation of actual road test. The Ministry of Science and Technology and the Ministry of Transport jointly launched the "National Road Safety Action Plan for Science and Technology" whose subject two of thematic five researches the computerized of the road test system subject III.Road test system subject III consists of intelligent vehicle test system and center monitoring and management system. Real-time data exchange needs by the two parts of road test system. Database synchronization replication technology is one kind of critical technology used in road test system subject III. The data synchronization scheme used in road test system subject III which demonstration applied to 10 cities of Guangdong and Zhejiang province has several defects:synchronization client only supports the equipment such as PC and it is not suit for smart handheld devices; synchronous connection is not built between synchronization client and server directly and it needs the help of the third device, synchronous replication uses digital video server and asynchronous replication uses U disk; synchronization scheme binding with the monitor equipment together which increases the risk of communication, either video cameras or digital video server suffering risk will cause synchronous interrupted. These problems would affect the efficiency and stability of data exchange and scalability of system.Considering the above-mentioned problems, the thesis proposes a kind of synchronization scheme which has the following advantages:Platform-independent, either smart phone and PDA or personal computer and server could use the component to keep data synchronous; Shielding heterogeneous database, the component would make data synchronous when database of client and server heterogeneous; Ensure the original system autonomic; Synchronous components support equipment adopts all kinds type of network for exchanging data without restriction.Firstly, the thesis abstract out a synchronous model through analysing data synchronization scheme provided by database manufacturers. and then, the thesis introduces synchronization mechanism, especially SyncML synchronization mechanism; Finally, the writer designs a synchronous replication client component based on SyncML and put this component into use in road test system subject III in order to improve former synchronous scheme. The scheme would greatly improve efficiency and stability of data exchange and scalability.
