Analysis And Design Of Teaching Affairs Management Information System Based On B/S Structure

With the expansion of the school scale and the continuing reform of the educational system, the workload and complexity of teaching affairs have increased, coupled with the rapid development of the computer network, those make the management of teaching affairs is imperative in the automation and networking. The High School attached to Chang'an University is also in this situation, so it is need to develop a teaching affairs management information system to adapt to the daily management.This system is developed for the managers, teachers and students. The purpose is to obtain a full teaching affairs management information system based on B/S structure to share the information of students fully and realize the management of the information of the guidance office and the Registry online. Therefore, it can realize the management of teaching affairs in networking, informationization, automation and standardization truly under the new situation.Based on the Windows platform, the system adopts Sybase e-business solution and uses PowerBuilder as the front-end development tool.At the same time, it chooses EAServer as the Application Server and uses SQL Server 2000 as the Database Server. This paper first analyses and compares the advantages and disadvantages of the C/S structure and the B/S structure, confirms the B/S structure development pattern according to the actual need of system development, and on this basis, chooses some proper development tools.Then, according to the selection of development methods and the tools, and, based on the needs and the design goals of the system, the paper analyzes the overall structure function and emphasizes the specific functions of each module. Next, the design of the database is described in detail, and makes some examples.Finally, the paper introduces the potential security threats of the system briefly, and emphasizes the security measures taken by the system and the key techniques.
