In recent years, research and application in practice shows that, P2P (Peer-to-Peer) streaming media technology can take advantage of the resources of ordinary nodes to provide services for other nodes. The P2P streaming media technology is a broad application prospect of streaming media distribution method because the P2P technology has the good price-performance ratio without changing the existing network configuration. On the other hand, the service capabilities of peers are limited and heterogeneous, and peers can join or leave the system at any time. At the same time, however, streaming media is a special application with stringent resources requirements for its long last time and playback deadlines. All these make P2P streaming media system face a lot of challenges. P2P streaming media system's performance relies heavily on the P2P network topology, while the core of the P2P topology building is the node selection problem, which becomes P2P streaming media technology research hot spots.This paper discusses the problem, which is the network topology of P2P streaming media distribution technology on the above background, and proposes an effective solution.Based on overlay network of service quality for streaming media system, this paper constructs the problems:1. Application of a step-node selection algorithm SBSPS, which SBSPS parent node in the selection algorithm at the same time taking into account to ensure data availability and streaming media QoS, namely, to find a candidate under the playback position to provide node, and then based on the nodes of the network approach, available bandwidth and packet loss rate QoS metric selected to provide the appropriate node.2. Adopted a resolution based on multi-ring structure NRMPS node localization program. NRMPS node localization program has adopted the multi-radius index increased analytic ring structure to quickly locate nodes, effectively support VCR (Video Cassette Recorder) operation. Between the nodes using chat-based approach for exchange of information.3. As a new type of streaming media content distribution method, P2P has a strong appeal to service providers and users. This research work to promote the development of P2P on-demand streaming media and applications provides a good theoretical and practical reference.
