P2P or peer-to-peer computing technology, there is no centralized server in the P2P network, the equality of nodes, each participant in the network to download and upload service. Media resource file is stored in P2P on-demand streaming system on the server side, but also stored in the customer being on-demand-side, so that for each on-demand user video is no longer just a server task, but participation by many Peer node is completed. Download rate, reducing the load on the server and storage needs.Multimedia on demand system based on P2P theory is a hot topic of the current network applications, this system has full use of the advantages of P2P theory, change the traditional C \ S mode on-demand system server bottleneck problem, the number of concurrent users supported by the greatly increased fluency very improve, the network load to be balanced, and allows the user to have a better on-demand experience.Between nodes of the P2P technology is absolutely right, any two nodes in the network are in the same position, making the choice of the node there is no strategy, often resulting in for example, a node located in China, may from internal and external nodes at the same time to download a file for the user, only the speed of the gap, but in terms of network operators, data only on the local gateway exchange across several operations than an autonomous domain of the network operator or provider gateway switching costs are much lower, if there is a certain strategy to make the choice of nodes can find the resources to give priority to the local network operators, not only can improve download speed, and can make a valuable export bandwidth of the network operators also beenrelease. In this context, the P4P technology came into being, its purpose is to strengthen the interaction of network operators and P2P systems, reducing the pressure and the operating costs of the backbone network transmission, and improve the performance of P2P systems.At present, the P4P technology is still theoretical research phase, this paper, a P4P technology-based on-demand streaming system, to improve the current demand system based on P2P technology, an effective node selection algorithm allows nodes to improve system performance and can network operators to reduce the network traffic of the backbone network, while the design for the deployment of the operator's the service iTracker server, it is a bridge of communication throughout the P4P framework, while maintaining the advantages of on-demand streaming technology, they can more easilyprovider acceptance and deployment, to accelerate the popularity of P4P technology, to reconcile the contradictions between the interests of the P2P operators, and endorsed by the industry.
