Research Of Workflow Technology Applied In The E-Government System

Currently, e-government constructions pay more attention to functions. Business process designing and management implications can influence the governmental institutional reforming. If ignore these influences, the governmental process become non-standard and non-flexible, authority and responsibility are not clear. The application performances of the e-government are obstructed seriously. As a result, introducing the workflow technology into the e-government system gets the key point of the governmental efficiency construction.Researched on the workflow technology, studied the characteristics of the e-government, and analysed the workflow model, then the architecture of the workflow engine was created and the model and core class of the workflow engine was designed. In the result, the lightweight workflow engine was created successfully which's using JSF+ Spring + Hibernate in the J2EE technology. The engine is to supply for the governmental flow, and bases on the relation structure. There are several disadwantages in conditional J2EE system, too large cost, too heavy system and too difficult to transplant. They have been overcomed. And it has solved the problems causing by the logical confusions in performance and business. It can be used in different databases and platform.The design of the lightweight workflow engine had been worked for the CPPCC proprietary business systems. Taking the proposal system for example, the working process was analyzed detailedly clearly and the operating interface was displayed. Then, the function was tested by the LoadRunner tools and manual ways.The result is that the lightweight workflow engine is proper and stable. It can handle with the procedure event effectually. It is proper flexibility and is able to expand, recover, and transplant. It can also curtail the time for development, reduce the cost, and integrate in the e-government system. It has a high practical value.
