| The smart antenna is one of key technique in the third generation system. And it has been the present focuses in signal processing field. The smart antenna, which is adapted in wireless mobile communication systems, in fact forms an antenna with a high gain. Thus communication in all directions can be conducted, then base station antenna coverage, system capacity and service quality are improved, also inter-symbol interferes and mufti-access interfere are reduced. The space division multiple access (SDMA) is introduced, and users can be distinct from each other through their special location. So the DOA of users plays a very important role in smart antenna systems.In this paper, analyze the specialty of array signal deeply and how to use DOA estimation to locate the array signal. A hard ware platform for smart antenna is designed. This platform is conducted by AD6640, HSP50214B and AD9851 formed data acquisition for data collection, the DSP6416 processor algorithms, PCI interface with the computer platform for data transmission. The thesis carries out back data process module. In order to ensure the entire locating platform has high precision algorithm test function, in the course of designing, thinking about many measures to ensure platform's stability and lower high frequency environment anti-interference ability, including grapping the job characteristic of DSP6416; the design of DSP6416 connection with peripheral interface; DSP interruption service; the design of expansion memory interface programming. Research and analyze the performance of DOA estimation algorithm. Run The MUSIC (the multiple signal classifies) algorithm on computer finally to verified the function of the hardware platform.It is of great value in engineering application and is a good guide to theory study in the future. |
