| ColdFire is introduced by Freescale based on the 68K family. ColdFire, known as cost-effective, highly-integrated, high-stability take a leading position in the industrial control field. However, in the domestic, ColdFire family of microcontrollers is not in large-scale use, and the related development information is relatively small. In this context, the study of the development boards based on ColdFire32-bit microcontroller is a very practical significance.The paper adopts ColdFire MCF52234 relatively. The development board has highly integrated, safe, reliable and eneral-purpose. According the MCF52234 has FEC and EPHY modules, Ethernet interface is designed. RS-232C interface, BDM interface AD, RESET, keypad, led light and extended port are designed in the same time. The system has the strong expandability which is convenient to continue subsequent development for adding user's needs. So it has the practical engineering value. The part of ports driver program are programmed and tested, which is help reader understand, It has the practical engineering value.In this paper, we have study the development board from both the hardware and software side. In the hardware side, it includes MCF52234 microcontroller introduction, analysis of the MCF52234 architecture, the structure; work mode, receive and transmit of UART; FEC and EPHY theory. Schematic design and PCB design by the Altium Designer 6.9, and complete the solder and test; In the software side, on the platform, write the Ethernet interface, RS-232C interface, keypad and led driver program, introduce designing process and give the test result in detail.The experiment results show that the development board achieves basic system requirements, including UART's communication, Ethernet's link and keypad's input and so on. The system has high worth, credibility, reliable and a wide application prospect. |
