Coldfire Embedded Ip Camera-based Programs

Now, the embedded technology changes with each passing day, appears the combination with the Internet technology, and the 32bit embedded CPU has been used widely. In addition, the MPEG-4 of the multimedia has being used in more and more areas. In this background, this dissertation represents a research on the design of the Embedded IP Camera scheme which implement the MPEG-4 technology based on the 32bit RISC Embedded CPU.This paper detailed analyses the characteristic, the application of some kinds of the main used Embedded CPU, selects the ColdFire5272 deployed by Motorola as the platform of this scheme. Then, this thesis recommends the solutions of the implication of the MPEG-4 in multimedia area, chooses the MPEG-1,-2,-4 CODEC chip VW2010 designed by Vweb Corporation as the core chip of the A/V module in the scheme, and detailed analyses the architecture, the data paths and DMA, the communication medium of VW2010 and so on.. All of this constitutes the stability foundation for the hardware and software design of the VW2010.The design that researched by this dissertation uses the MCF5272, the VW2010 chips and so on as the hardware platform, combines the embedded uCLinux OS, processes the design of the scheme in both hardware and software. In the design of the hardware, a description of the architecture of the embedded system and functional module division is represented, and the design of the A/V module based on the VW2010 is introduced in detail.In the development of the software of the system, the solution how to set up the Cross-Compile tools, empolder the Boot Loader and the Embedded OS is described. And finally, the dissertation analyses the design of the layered software of the VW2010 that include the Device Driver and the application software. Also the technical problems countered while processing the design of the system are analyzed, and are listed in detail.
