Since the first screw pump produced in France, with its unique structure and properties, widely used in various industrial sectors. The early nineties a number of domestic enterprises began develop screw pump in independence, and has made some achievements. However, on the whole, there is a gap in the quality and performance of the screw pump with the international's. Many factors affect the performance of screw pump, through the test of screw pump to obtain the performance parameters information, and use the results of analyzed, compared and summarized to guide enterprises in a more reasonable and more scientific designed to fundamentally improve screw pump performance. Therefore, an urgent need for many enterprises to develop the screw pump test system according to their own requirements.Make use of the opportunities of Huangshan industrial pump factory and our school to develop for screw pump test system, I participated in the development of detection and control of the system. According to the requirements of Huangshan Industrial Pump Factory, with the experience of home and abroad in detection and control of screw pump test system, The whole system is divided into upper and lower two parts. Among them, the lower controller is directly connected with the screw-pump test equipment to complete the detect and control work, and the upper's as a user interface. Therefore, this system is mainly divided into two areas: (1) Use the LPC2378 in ARM7 family microprocessor as control core, using its powerful processing capabilities and rich peripheral interfaces, combined with uC/OS-II operating system, constitute the main control board for the detection of the main performance parameters of the screw pump: temperature, flow, pressure, vibration, torque, motor speed, and using the software algorithms to handle them, and to control the screw pump's speed and the equipment's pressure on modern control theory. (2) Using VB language design convenient and practical PC operation interface, through RS232 and network to communicate with the lower control board, and to achieve real-time data save, report generation and report printing, etc.
