During the development of modern electronic industry, the electronic packaging technology must be able to adapt to the lighter, thinner, higher intensity electronic products, which have the higher reliability, the better electrical performance and the higher cost performance. Recently, fluid dispensing technology plays an important role in the electronic packaging increasingly, one-component adhesive has already difficult to ensure the adhesive property under some bad conditions, so the new dispensing technology which is applied to the metering-mixing of two-component adhesive is drawing the attention of the markets. Combing the screw dispensing pump metering and static mixing tube hybrid technology, the two-component screw dispensing pump metering-mixing mechanism is proposed, and the metering-mixing mechanism analysis and experimental research of the two-component screw dispensing pump are as follows.Firstly, the overseas and domestic research status of two-component metering-mixing technology are introduced and analyzed, and extremely the advantages of two-component screw dispensing pump metering-mixing. In further research, the basic work theory of screw dispensing metering pump is studied. The rotor and stator of screw dispensing pump are analyzed in kinematic way, and the kinematic equations of rotor and stator in any cross section are obtained. The self seals characteristics and leakage mechanism of screw dispensing pump are analyzed. The screw dispensing pumps with the different parameters are designed, and the design feasibility is verified by 3-D assemble modeling. According to the motion law of rotor and stator in the same cross section, the flow field in meshing chamber of rotor and stator is simulated by Fluent dynamic meshing theory, the influences of adhesive solution viscosity and rotor speed to measure precision of screw dispensing pump are studied.Secondly, mixing mechanism of dual phase static mixing tube liquid flow is studied, the structure of MS Static Mixers is proposed, and the physical model is built. The numerical analysis of dual phase hybrid of MS Static Mixers is finished by Standard k-omega, turbulence model and multi-phase flow Mixture model. Concentration field and velocity field of two-component adhesive solution with different properties and mix proportion are simulated, and the range of application is analyzed.Thirdly, the structure and basic work theory of two-component screw dispensing pump are analyzed. The gearing of screw dispensing pump is studied. Regard the screw dispensing pump under higher force as study object, the axial force is analyzed, and the proper bearing and flexible drive shaft are selected. The prototype of two-component screw dispensing pump is manufactured, the function of each subsystem is analyzed.Fourthly, each parts of brush DC servo motor are introduced simply, and the proper motor is selected. According to the requirement of prototype about the function and precision of control system, the triple-loop controller is chose as motor driver, serial communication is programmed by PLC to read and write, the control system is designed and made, and the function of each part is analyzed.Lastly, experimental facility of two-component screw dispensing pump is built, the control precision of the system is tested, and the uniformity of setting speed and actual speed is verified. The measuring accuracy of two screw dispensing pump is tested by three parameters: motor speed, adhesive viscosity and supply pressure. The influence of the parameters to the volume of viscosity is analyzed. The measuring accuracy and reliability of the two-component screw dispensing pump metering-mixing mechanism is good enough to satisfy the requirements of market, and it could provide theoretical basis for the further research of the two-component screw dispensing pump.
